WHO WE ARE
Our downtown storefront, Dart Resale and Trade, opened in October 2020. We carry a variety of affordable modern and vintage secondhand clothing.
Our name Dart comes from a subtle fold sewn into a garment that gives shape to an otherwise flat item.
Our goal is to involve the community in the resale of secondhand clothing. We buy items every Tuesday and offer cash payout or provide trade in the form of store credit.
STORY
Dart began in 2019 as a pop-up shop. The Dart Cart and traveling sales racks made appearances at various Downtown Harrisonburg events. Owner Mary Yoder-Anderson taught art during the day and curated secondhand inventory for Dart as a hobby. Being a visual artist and lover of stories, Mary hopes Dart will extend the story of quality clothing and connect people interested in expressing themselves through what they wear.
